Foothills Art Society in Malone, NY, is a growing arts organization dedicated to enriching lives through art. We are seeking a fulltime Executive Director with proven leadership and relationship management experience.
The Executive Director will engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, groups and community entities to successfully administer our organization consistent with its mission, programmatic and financial objectives. The Executive Director will report to a volunteer Board of Directors,
The Executive Director is expected to develop performance and outcomes-based operationalized strategies, create quality programming and perform data-driven program evaluation, set and achieve strategic goals, develop and implement successful marketing, public relations, and fundraising strategies and maintain sound financial practices.
We are seeking candidates with:
A Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in the area of management, the arts, or related field is preferred, but not required and/or
Three years in non-profit management, fundraising, arts, and community engagement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
An action-oriented, entrepreneurial, and adaptable approach to business planning.
The ability to assemble and manage high performance teams.
Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, and self-motivation.
Ability to work flexible hours to fulfill responsibilities of position.
A valid driver’s license, full access to a vehicle and updated proof of insurance.
