Karen Loffler- Executive Director

​Karen has a master’s in creative leadership and enjoys nurturing creativity in others. She grew up in Burke NY, and lived in Saranac Lake, NY, then Palm Bay, FL. She happily returned to the peaceful fields and streams of the North Country. As founder of the Adirondack Carousel, she understands what it takes to grow an organization from the ground up until it is a focal point in the community. “Members, artists, and volunteers are the heart of any not-for-profit,” Karen says. “And it’s the greater community that makes us successful. I look forward to reconnecting to that community.”
